Pippa’s is run by me, Karen. Closely supported by my family. My lovely patient husband Stephen, who is always there to listen to my incessant chatter about all things Vintage and being dragged around sales and shows. ‘I think I’m winning him over'

Our two daughters Charlotte and Rebecca who are always at hand when I need them, not forgetting our little granddaughter Naomi who is pretty as a picture for photo shots.

I sometimes think I was born at the wrong time; I have always loved eras gone by. I remember growing up visiting antique centres loving all the things from the past, the beautiful shapes with delicate designs of the china always caught my eye. I could not resist buying beautiful hand painted china with pretty flowers, hand embroidered table linens like grandma used to do. Large jugs just waiting to be filled with lovely blooms.  In 2006 we bought a little café in market town in Shropshire; we created a vintage style tearoom selling yummy homemade food, quality loose leaf teas and fresh ground coffees all served with pretty English china.

Watching my collection of vintage china grow, I wanted to share it with more people and Pippa’s Vintage Hire was born. Stephen’s career moved to the South West in 2012, although I had to sell my treasured café it has enabled me to dedicate more time to Pippa's so I can make your event one you have always dreamt of, indulging your passion for all things vintage.
